Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

This policy explains how Extura (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through extura.com.

Who we are

Extura provides software products and consultancy services for online communities and local search. You can contact us at hello@extura.com.

What we collect and why

Contact form

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about the product or service you asked about.

Our contact form is processed by Formspree, Inc., which handles the submission on our behalf and delivers it to us by email. Formspree’s own privacy policy is available at https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.

Hosting and security logs

This website is hosted on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is used for security, performance, and abuse prevention. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary ones set by our hosting provider for security purposes (for example, bot protection).

Where UK GDPR applies, we process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interests: responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us. If your enquiry leads to a contract, further processing is on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and then delete them. Routine enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within 12 months.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers named above (Formspree, Cloudflare) to the extent needed to operate this website, and where required by law.

International transfers

Formspree and Cloudflare may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are covered by the providers’ applicable safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights including access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection to processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@extura.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
